Delaware Army MARS operates an extensive voice and digital state gateway
at the Pepco Holdings Inc. Newark Data Center. This
station--AAT3TDE, relays information between Delaware MARS members, the
Region 3 Gateway--AAT3TFC (also at this location) and the Eastern Area
MARS gateway in Ft. Detrick, MD--AAA3USA.
Some of the capabilities of the
station include:
VHF/UHF radios to interface with
MARS, Amateur radio operators, Christiana Hospital System, Red Cross,
and the National Guard VHF system.
HF radios to interface with Army MARS, Air Force MARS, Navy-Marine Corps
MARS, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Department of State, and
Department of Homeland Security Shared Resources (SHARES).
800MHz digital trunked radios to interface with Delaware National Guard,
Delaware Emergency Management Agency, Fire departments, and the Delaware
State Police.
800MHz analog radios to interface with Delmarva Power and Atlantic City
Electric.
Various Computer equipment to send digital PACTOR I, II, and III, PSK31,
MT-63, Amtor messages.
Weather station for up-to-date information on weather conditions.
The AAT3TDE/AAT3TFC Gateway is also
the hub of a statewide repeater and digital network which you can find
